let’s be honest, I've been through my fair share of ISPs. What I really like is how open and honest they are, no reading from a script. 100% recommend them to anyone wanting a straightforward broadband provider
Joined Olilo back in May, had no issues at all with service. Not a blip of downtime at all. The support over in their discord is fast and there’s usually someone around who can help - weather that’s staff or a member of the community there!
A modern, easy, straightforward ISP. Very smooth to get integrated. Communication to customer is clear and fast. I strongly recommend it over those legacy ISPs.
I’ve been part of this company’s community for a while, and recently decided to take the plunge and switch my broadband from BT over to them — and I honestly couldn’t recommend them more. If I could give more than five stars, I would. Aydan and the team are fantastic. The community is welcoming, supportive, and genuinely helpful. Having worked in the broadband industry myself before changing careers, it’s refreshing to see something truly innovative, well-priced, and customer-focused enter the market. I recommend them to all my friends and family, and to anyone even considering switching broadband or mobile — especially now they offer SIMs too. I genuinely can’t understand the one-star reviews. My experience, and that of many others I know, has been nothing short of excellent from day one.
Super responsive at sorting post sign up technical issue and then a billing issue. When I joined my checks did not indicate I would need a new ONT as was on 2gb with previous provider but upon install it was found I would actually need a better ONT. I used the discord and had a response within minutes and an appointment was booked and all fixed within a few days. On my first bill it had a charge for install but this was incorrect. Again a simple no hassle message on the discord and was fixed in no time. You join a company like this and pay a little more than the big ones for the customer service. This sort of service is what makes them different. That and awesome speeds. If they keep up this level of 1:1 service as they grow you should not hesitate to join,
I recently placed an order with Olilo and received setup details promptly for my installation appointment. Ahead of the install, I requested advance notice of my IPv4 and IPv6 allocation details so I could prepare DNS records in advance. I also asked about whether the connection would use static addressing via DHCP or PPPoE. My support contact was knowledgeable and responsive — they provided full router configuration details including IPv4 and IPv6 allocations, and confirmed the setup would use a static /31 with a routed /28 for IPv4, and a /126 link prefix with a routed /48 for IPv6. They spoke the right technical language for my customer type, which made the whole process smooth and confidence-inspiring. They really moved the needle in helping me transition away from a difficult ISP with opaque policies. If you're a technically-minded customer looking for an ISP that communicates clearly and doesn't hide behind jargon or vague processes, I'd highly recommend Olilo.
Absolutely fantastic ISP, ignore all the 1 star reviews, these are just nonsense. Getting setup was ultra smooth and since then service has been completely seamless and I joined their discord where support is available 24/7. I had an issue at 9pm on a Saturday due to a power-cut and the issue was completely resolved by Sunday afternoon, I have never had an issue on a Saturday and fixed on a Sunday, the support is unmatched. The discord server is amazing, means you don’t have to sit on endless calls and the community is very helpful. The connection has been stable and perfect the whole time receiving the advertised speeds and Olilo is the only provider I’ve ever heard of thats offered mid contract price decreases. Top tier ISP.
Internet without the bs is exactly the way to explain this company. Customer service (Ayden and Liam are who I spoke to) is exceptional! Very friendly, hugely helpful and always put the customer first. My install via CityFibre went without a hitch and my speeds are rock solid, even slightly higher than the 2.3gbps advertised (2.4 down and 2.5 up). If you’re tired of the bs from Virgin, Sky or any other provider, it’s time to sign up for Olilo!
I have two CityFibre lines installed through Olilo, and from start to finish the ordering, provisioning, and installation process has been exceptionally smooth. Everything was clear, well communicated, and handled without friction, which is refreshing in itself. Olilo genuinely feels like a breath of fresh air in the ISP space. They are transparent, fairly priced, and (most importantly) technically competent. The support team clearly understands the underlying technology rather than relying on scripted responses, which immediately sets them apart from most providers. Support via Discord has been excellent; the team is active, responsive, and proactive, with questions answered quickly and accurately. There is no unnecessary hand-off between departments or repetition when dealing with support. You engage directly with knowledgeable people who understand your setup and focus on resolving issues efficiently. The service feels straightforward, honest, and customer-focused rather than driven by internal processes. Pricing is sensible and competitive, and the ability to not need to be in a contract is particularly welcome. It shows confidence in the service and provides genuine flexibility. It’s a strange thing to say, but it’s almost surprising how nice it is to simply receive good, competent service, but Olilo delivers exactly that, and in a sea of crap ISPs, that alone makes them stand out. Finally, a sincere thank you to the team for building and running the service, and for the consistent support. Highly recommended.
Moved after 6 years of using Vodafone over CityFibre because of continued service degradation (traffic shaping) and terrible customer support. Was going to move to IDNet from a past positive experience and someone on Reddit when I was looking suggested Olilo. Glad I gave that some further research because these guys are not messing about as an ISP. Straight talking, no-nonsense, no contracts for CityFibre lines and a rapid switch too. From enquiry to switch was only 3 days, and that included getting the ONT upgraded with a site visit! Outstanding speed and the entire team are technical and ultra responsive to any questions too. Broadband for nerds is their pitch and that suits me perfectly, as they are not a consumer friendly operation who's going to dumb down or fluff up anything. If you want your ISP to provide all the equipment, hand hold and set it all up go elsewhere. If you want fast, low latency, fully configurable business grade internet without any excuses or faff, you need Olilo. If you're the type of person who is looking for an internet provider like this, and understands all the networking terminology on their website, chances are you'll already have your own high-end equipment to use with it anyway. Make the leap and switch as I'm glad I did and wish them all the success in the future as they're super new at the moment but off to such a good start.
Great experience. Did one touch switch from my previous provider. Engineer arrived on time and swapped over my ONT with City Fibre to give me access to those extra speeds. Online within minutes. Had some issues accessing certain sites and Olilo spent all evening troubleshooting with me. Turned out to be an issue with my equipment and not the Olilo service. Can’t fault the support and customer service. Blazing fast, no issues, happy household. 1000% recommended. Olilo is going to change the face of super fast broadband.
